Join us for a night of fun, recognition, basketball, and see 500
people from the API community at the game.
Watch the exciting young Kings take on Tim Duncan and the San Antonio
Spurs and celebrate the first annual Asian Pacific Islander American
Public Affairs event at ARCO Arena.
For each ticket sold, the Kings will contribute $9.50 to APAPA’s internship / scholarship programs.
During the game some of the members will be part of our high five squad, sideline star watch, and be recognized during the games. Then join us after the game on the court and take a picture with all of the members.
In celebration of the Kings’ 25th Anniversary, each ticket holder will receive a voucher allowing him or her to purchase from a $0.25 food & drink menu.
APAPA Members,
It gives me great pleasure to announce a new partnership with the Sacramento Kings Basketball Team and APAPA. A special thanks to Tie Zhang, one of APAPA’s founding Board Members and former VP, who worked very hard for the past year to make this happen for APAPA. I want to thank Michael Ramos, Group Sales Account Manager of the Sacramento Kings and Norm DeYoung, APAPA VP and Outreach Chair for their dedication and efforts in developing this program as a Sacramento Kings sponsorship to APAPA’s Summer Internship/Scholarship Program.
Wednesday, February 3, 2010 is APAPA's Night With the Kings. We plan to sell 500 tickets for $35.00 each (for a $79.50 value seat). Each ticket sold, Sacramento Kings will contribute $9.50 to APAPA’s Summer Internship/Scholarship Program for a total of $4,750 (500 X $9.50). We will have a private suite and VIP Lounge passes for APAPA’s major sponsors and top ticket sellers. We will also have major exposure to the public of APAPA and its members at the court during intermission.
Thank you to Kevin Chen, Kings Corporate Sales Manager for his assistance in providing the private suite and VIP Lounge passes.
The Sacramento Kings/San Antonio Spurs game is going to be an exciting, competitive game for all of us. We have Kings’ fans, Spurs’ fans and overall basketball fans that will be joining us. We will bring together 500 API Americans who work together, contribute together and play together towards APAPA’s mission-Empowerment of API Americans in civic and public affairs.
Let’s make this a huge success. Act quickly to sell the 500 tickets in the next three weeks. The top sellers will receive many incentives (see the flyer). When you buy tickets, indicate what team leader referred you. Please contact Dr. Tom Bhe, Chair of the APAPA Night with the Kings committee at 916-355-4159 or email bhetom@yahoo.com for any questions. Tickets must be purchased by January 18, 2010.
Look forward to seeing you all at the game!
